A little while back at Paleo FX we were lucky enough to have Tait Fletcher & Keith Jardine hop on the show and chat for a bit.

There are a million places where you might have heard of these guys, from fighting in the UFC, to acting in Jurassic World, to their podcast and coffee brand, Caveman Coffee.

I had a blast shooting the shit with these two. Quite frankly I was a bit intimidated. These two are as Alpha as it comes. I’m truly grateful that they opened up and shared with us some of the lessons they’ve learned along their journeys.

Get ready because there are some funny ass stories, vulgar language, and life lessons that could throw your whole universe out of alignment.

If I had to pick one message to take away from this show it’s that comfort equals death.

Stop working so hard to be comfortable. When you reach that level of complacency, you have stopped living life.

Don’t be afraid of failure. Don’t be afraid of uncertainty. Find what you love and put all of your time into it. And when you stop loving it, move on and find something else.

Don’t resist it because it’s who you thought you were. Change. And embrace that change. Learn from it, and move on.

I think I heard Tony Robbins once say, “Remember, life does not happen TO you, it happens FOR you.” Big truth to that. Take failures as opportunities and let them help you grow.

Don’t worry so much about being “great” right now, you’re exactly where you need to be. Just keep going and enjoy the journey.
